Morgan Guse, Budget Manager I

Nearly one year ago, CCOC asked Morgan Guse if she would be interested in an internship to put some of her learned marketing skills into practice. Impressed with her ability to drive more awareness to clerks’ issues, CCOC offered her a Budget Manager position in January. She has deeply enjoyed the last year at CCOC and is thankful for the experience and knowledge she is gaining each day. Morgan will be assisting Griffin as staff to the Budget Committee, using social media to educate the public about the importance of a stable budget for clerks and managing the juror management reimbursement process.

Morgan graduated from the University of South Florida Muma College of Business Honors Program in December of 2020 with a degree in Finance and Marketing. While at USF, she conducted an original research study that dove into social media marketing’s direct impact on the scope of political campaigns. In her coursework, she enjoyed classes in corporate finance, principles of financial investments, and marketing research, all of which prepared her for her career at CCOC. Morgan manages a large portion of the marketing efforts at CCOC and supports staff in various budgeting and communications tasks.

Raised in Tallahassee, Morgan was eager to return to her hometown upon graduation. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, playing with her puppy, and going to the beach whenever she gets the chance. As a young professional in Tallahassee, she hopes to get plugged into various local networks and service organizations in the near future to give back to the community that has given her so much.

In her Budget Manager position, she stated, “I am hopeful that I can create a positive impact on the clerk family of Florida, and gain a unique understanding of the clerks’ court-related budgets. With CCOC’s extremely specific niche, this position challenges and allows me to shift my general perspective of business finance and marketing while I am entrusted to practice the principles I’ve learned in college and apply them to my work. I cherish the immense encouragement which I receive from the leaders at CCOC to grow as an individual and team member, and am extremely grateful for this opportunity.”
