The CCOC lost a great clerk advocate at the beginning of this year when Joe Boyd, CCOC General Counsel passed away on January 6, 2021. Mr. Boyd served as the only General Counsel to the CCOC since its inception in 2003. He provided many legal opinions on issues essential to the budgeting of Clerks during the transition from local to state funding. He did this with dignity and integrity and his reasoned voice will continue to be missed by the CCOC.
