CFY 2019-20 Outputs & Case Counting Business Rules

The Case Counting Business Rules were revised and adopted by the Budget Committee at their meeting on May 27, 2020. In addition to approving the revised business rules, the Committee also approved the CCOC to modify the monthly Outputs report as needed and request that Clerks update their numbers for CFY 2019-20 to reflect the changes to the business rules. Please find a memo from Clerk Cooney, Chair of the Case Count Business Rules Workgroup, which provides further information. Also, keep in mind that the business rules need to be applied to CFY 2020-21 and forward.


The revised Outputs form can be found on the CCOC website: You will notice that several lines have been changed to YELLOW. These lines are OPTIONAL for reporting per the business rules. See the footnotes on the form for the lines that will be weighted at a zero for any cases reported. Please submit the revised CFY 2019-20 form to by January 20, 2021. If you have reviewed the revised business rules and verified your amounts do not need to be updated, please submit your numbers on the new form so we can have everyone’s data on the same form.
